Craig Monk is Professor of English at the University of Lethbridge, Canada, where he was bestowed its Distinguished Teaching Award in 2007.  He has degrees from Memorial University, UWO, and Oxford University.  He has published extensively on American literary magazines, and he is a board member of the Research Society for American Periodicals.  Since 2010, he has been co-editor of its journal, American Periodicals: A Journal of History and Criticism.  With an interest in modernist expatriation, he published Writing the Lost Generation (University of Iowa Press) in 2008.  At the Beinecke, he will extend his reading of the most significant dozen expatriate American little magazines published between the world wars by examining holdings (especially ephemera) related to their editors and main contributors.
