Biography
Johanna Harris completed her DPhil at the University of Oxford in 2009. She is Lecturer in Renaissance Literature at the University of Exeter. Her fellowship at the Beinecke will support an edition of Thomas Traherne’s Select Meditations (co-edited with Prof. Laetitia Yeandle). She has co-edited (with Elizabeth Scott-Baumann) The Intellectual Culture of Puritan Women (Palgrave, 2011), published articles on Lady Brilliana Harley, early modern letter writing, puritanism, amongst other early modern topics, and is completing a monograph on puritan epistolary communities.
