Biography

Kevin Wilkinson is a recent graduate of Yale University (2008).  His research interests are primarily in the social and religious history of the later Roman Empire and in Greek and Coptic papyrology.  He has published articles in the Bulletin of the American Society of Papyrologists and in Zeitschrift für Papyrologie und Epigraphik, and he has a forthcoming contribution to the series Corpus Papyrorum Raineri.  Wilkinson’s current project is an edition of an unpublished papyrus codex in the holdings of the Beinecke Library.  This fragmentary fourth-century manuscript contains a collection of Greek epigrams, almost all of them hitherto unknown.  In conjunction with this editorial work, Wilkinson is writing a chronological and historical study of Palladas of Alexandria, the author of the epigrams in the Yale codex.
