Please join us to celebrate the opening of “Destined to Be Known: The James Weldon Johnson Memorial Collection at 75” on Thursday, September 29th at 4pm at the Beinecke Library.

The program will include: selections from the songs of James Weldon and Rosamond Johnson performed by Lisa Williamson YSM’12 accompanied by Jill Brunelle; readings from Johnson’s work by Yale students Raffaella Donatich Y’19, Ivetty Estepan Y’18, Margaret (Migs) Grabar Sage, ES’19, Julianna Simms ES’18, Elizabeth Anne Spenst Y’18, and by Professor Robert Stepto; and a performance by Shades of Yale.
